FAQ for Transportation Companies

Where do you operate?

RoundTrip has a nationwide transportation network and is currently operating in ten states: ME, MA, NH, PA, NY, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA.

How do I join your network and what are the required credentials?

At minimum, you must be an active Medicaid provider with current certification and licensing.  To join our network, fill out the form and follow the prompts to create your provider profile. You will be notified as soon as we verify your information-it should take less than 2 business days.

Is there a fee to join your network?

There is a small “per ride request” service fee that is applied only to completed transports.  In most cases, it is just a few dollars per ride.

How will I be paid?

RoundTrip works directly with the Health institutions and insurance payors to obtain authorizations prior to release of the trip to the network.  Once you have accepted a trip, you will bill the corresponding payor directly (such as you do now) unless otherwise directed to bill RoundTrip. In the event you are instructed to bill RoundTrip, you will have a contracted rate for those rides.

Do you hire drivers like Uber and Lyft?

We do not hire independent drivers.  RoundTrip works with a credentialed network of transportation providers who are certified to provide Medicaid.

What is the insurance requirement to be a provider in your network?

You will be required to maintain comprehensive general and automobile liability coverage with limits no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 annual aggregate. You will be required to maintain medical professional liability coverage with limits consistent with prevailing industry standards and workers’ compensation insurance in the statutory required amounts.

How do I receive ride requests?

Once you are credentialed and accepted into the network, you will receive access to our Community Portal and Dispatcher Portal, where you will be able to view/accept/manage ride requests.
