Mark Switaj
Mark SwitajFounder & Chief Executive Officer
Mark founded RoundTrip in 2016, building on 15 years of industry experience to improve patient transportation. Most recently, Mark served as the Chief Operating Officer of EmCare North Division, a large clinician practice management group, serving over 1,000 affiliated clinicians, 175 practice support professionals, and 150 partnered facilities comprising the division. Prior to that, Mark served the nation’s largest ambulance company, American Medical Response (AMR), where he initially provided patient care as an EMT and then grew his career to lead AMR’s North Region Business Development department. By combining these clinical, sales, and senior operational experiences, Mark offers a balanced conversation as an industry entrepreneur. He graduated from Boston College Carroll School of Management and received his MBA from Georgetown University. Mark also obtained Fellow status with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Ankit Mathur
Ankit MathurChief Information & Product Officer
Ankit brings over 14 years in Information Technology experience, with a main focus on software
product development. Ankit has collaborated with federal agencies and healthcare providers on the Nationwide Health Information network, connecting disparate EMR systems with critical electronic patient records. Most recently, Ankit was the Head of Product Development at Unboxed Technology where he led multiple fast-paced agile software teams focused on lean principles bringing software products to market achieving product market fit. Ankit graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and later with an MBA and Masters in Information Systems – IT Management.
Angela Damiano
Angela DamianoCorporate Administrator
Angela is the Corporate Administrator for RoundTrip. She has an extensive background in financial analytics. Most recently, Angela ran portfolio analytics and internal database and compliance procedures for high net worth clients at Pagnato Karp, HighTower and Wilmington Trust. Prior to that, Angela was a Principal Financial Analyst at Capital One where she delivered top quality financial reports and trend analysis of internal forecasts and budgets for executive management for strategic and managerial decisions. Angela graduated from the University of Mary Washington and received her MBA from Georgetown University. She is a CFA charterholder.
Brendan McNiff
Brendan McNiffEVP, Operations
Brendan is a highly experienced transportation leader with over 20 years of proven strategic leadership in the patient logistics sector. Most recently, Brendan served as a Chief Operating Officer for Falck US, the world’s largest provider of private emergency and non-emergency medical transport. While at Falck, Brendan was responsible strategic growth initiatives, both organic top-line revenue expansion as well as M&A opportunities and integrations. Prior to his tenure at Falck, Brendan held several senior executive roles at American Medical Response (AMR), and was responsible for driving and maintaining EBIDTA from 4% to above 10% for the Northeast division. Brendan began his career as a Paramedic, working in the greater Boston area responding to thousands of emergency requests each year. While completing his undergraduate degree at Northeastern University, Brendan accelerated his professional career as VP/General Manager with direct oversight of more than 1600 employees. Reaching several career pinnacles, including serving as the ground EMS Incident Commander for FEMA at Hurricanes Katrina and IKE, Superstorm Sandy and President Obamas’ inauguration, Brendan balanced the responsibility of managing over $220 million in revenue with the complexity of driving profitability in a vast changing environment.
